Thank you to everyone who supported the 2014 village show. A great turnout, and as the weather was lovely, we took the opportunity to extend the show outside onto the patio.
We added new handicraft classes, and an art class, which opened the show to a wider range of competitors.
The WI did us all proud with their spectacular cake, produce and craft stall. Candy floss and ice creams were available also.
A huge thank you to both Rachel & Tessa. Rachel worked tirelessly with her team of helpers to provide cups of tea and selection of home made cakes, and Tessa ran another very successful tombola stall. Proceeds raised for the village hall amounted to £130.00
We welcomed Alex from the hEdges community project, with all his gnomes! So we think there was something for everyone to enjoy. Don't forget to get involved if you want one! See his article here.
