Recently a number of suspicious, not to say, sinister individuals have been seen loitering around Hilperton Village Hall.

But don't worry ….It is believed that they may be connected with the Hilperton Mystery, Mid Wilts Video Society’s latest project.

On the 1st & 15th August at 7.30pm the Mid Wilts Video Society will be filming in and around Hilperton Village Hall.

If you see yourself as a future film-star, cinematographer or auteur you should be there; to watch, act or film; bring your own camera if you want to. You can be sure of a warm welcome, an amusing evening and friendly advice on all aspects of video making.

Over £1,500 was raised for charities at Hilperton Fete last month.  

With at least 1,000 people estimated to have attended, the Fete was a huge success and the weather obliged by staying dry for the afternoon (well almost!). There was truly fun for all ages with a myriad of stalls, live music, model train rides, a bouncy castle, hook-a-duck, face painting, a cub scout camp and many other attractions.

A great way to celebrate The Queen's 90th Birthday and 100 years of Cub Scouting. 

Sonja Kotevska, organiser for the last five years, said: "It surpassed all our expectations. It was wonderful to see so many people having fun and raising money for charity in the process.  I should like to thank all those people who helped with the event and of course all those who attended."
