Over the winter we developed a severe problem with water leaking through a flat roof and into store rooms on our first floor. On inspection it was found that the membrane covering the roof had failed allowing water through and also that an adjacent chimney needed maintenance.
We engaged ‘Spirit Property Maintenance’ to carry out the work which was completed earlier this month, fortunately just ahead of the recent heavy rain. The work involved removing the old membrane, making good the roof surface underneath and then applying coats of a bituminous sealant, plus repointing the chimney. We are really pleased with the work done and the overall service provided by Spirit Property Manintenance. Jeremy Spirit is pictured above together with a photo of the new roof surface.
We would like to thank Wiltshire Council, through Trowbridge Area Board, and Hilperton Parish Council for jointly funding these vital repairs to our building.
