Adult Activities to resume from Monday 17th May
Under 'Step 3' of the Government's Roadmap, adult activities such as exercise classes and clubs can restart at the hall from next Monday 17th May. However all activities must still be carried out in a 'Cover Secure Manner' - with similar precautions to those in place in the Autumn.
Lounge Bar to Reopen Monday 17th May
With the Government announcement today 10th May, the lounge bar will reopen from next Monday 17th May. The bar will be open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday only - 8pm to 11pm.
The bar will NOT be open Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
NOTE - service will be at the table only and rules state that face coverings must be worn when entering the bar and at all times except when seated at your table.
We have conducted a Risk Assessment into how we can operate the bar in a way that mitigates the risks of transmission of COVID-19. Out of this Risk Assessment have come new procedures and rules which apply to bar management, bar staff and customers. These restrictions will apply at least until 'Step 4' of the Government 'Roadmap' which is scheduled for no earlier than 21st June.

- Please use the hand sanitiser at the doorway as you come in.
- The lounge has a ‘one way system’ with customer entry by the main door and exit via the fire doors.
- A condition of using the bar is that you and others in your party give names and contact telephone numbers to bar staff on arrival. This information will be kept securely for three weeks in case there is a need to contact you and then destroyed.
- All customers within the bar are asked to remain at their tables during their visit (apart from visiting WCs – see below). Orders will be taken at tables and delivered to tables by bar staff. Where possible we ask you to pay by contactless payment.
- There are collection points at the exit where we ask that you leave any glasses/bottles/cans on the way out. Otherwise glasses will be collected by bar staff, please do not bring them up to the bar.

Government Announce ‘Roadmap’ out of Lockdown
Update 27 February
It was great to hear news this week of the Government’s Plan for the gradual release from lockdown over the next four months.
The Government has emphasised that all dates are ‘not before’ and reliant on its ‘four tests’ continuing to be met.
At the hall we will want to reopen for appropriate activities, as we are allowed and it is safe to do so.
This will start with supporting our football teams when they resume outside from 29th March.
Under ‘Step 2’, potentially from 12th April, the hall will reopen to allow Children’s activities to restart. We don’t have the facilities to consider reopening our bar just for outdoor service.
Then under ‘Step 3’, potentially from 17th May, adult activities such as exercise classes can restart and our bar can reopen. Wedding celebrations and wakes for up to 30 people can also take place.
Step Four is scheduled for no earlier than 21st June and this would allow full reopening including parties, events and other activities.
We are now taking bookings for the summer and autumn for parties and other events.
