Hilperton Village Hall will hold their AGM on Thursday 12th April at 7pm at the hall.
![]() 'Blame Cathy', a seasonal murder mystery comedy played to packed houses on both nights and raised £850 for village hall funds. The play was written by long time collaborator Graham Billing and performed by 'Hilperton Presents ...' under director Pam Turner on Thursday 21st & Friday 22nd December 2017. The cast included many regulars but welcomed a number of new players this year. After the one act play reached its finale with the killer unmasked, cast and audience came together to sing carols with Emily Clark the soloist for "Once in Royal ..' and a haunting rendition of 'O Holy Night'. More pictures from the night on our gallery page here. A very big thank you to the cast and production team of 'Hilperton Presents ...' and to all those who attended over the two nights. 'Hilperton Presents ...' will return for 'Hilperton's Lovely War' in November 2018 to commemorate the end of the First World War. We have a vacancy for a part time cleaner.
Friday 6-8am Saturday 6-8am Sunday 6-9am For more information and an application form please email timvdavies@talktalk.net THIS VACANCY HAS NOW BEEN FILLED. Working is currently taking place to resurfacing the main road through Hilperton and this will affect access to the village hall over the next few weeks (from 21st September).
To be clear, it will always be possible to reach the Village Hall by vehicle but due to alternate road closures for Church Street and Hill Street the route will vary. This morning Monday 9th October access is from the "Staverton end" via Hill Street. There is no vehicle access via Church Street (Lion and Fiddle end). We understand the plan is to move this closure this afternoon to Hill Street when access will then be from the "Lion and Fiddle end". We will endeavour to update this article and our Facebook Page as we get news of where the closure will be each day. Apologies for any inconvenience. ![]() The coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support held on Saturday 30th September at the hall was a great success with over £900 raised for this very worthy cause.
